Detailed Description: Erico Sectional copper-bonded ground rod has 99.9% pure electrolytic copper coating that will not crack when bent or tear when driven. The copper plating has a thickness of 10 mil. The copper exterior of this ground rod has molecular bonding to nickel-sealed high strength steel core. It measures 1/2 Inch Dia x 8 ft. The high carbon steel core and tip of this rod provides superior strength while driving. It has minimum 80000 psi tensile strength. It offers chamfered end connection. With pointed and chamfered ends thread location, this ground rod has cold-rolled threads with unbroken grain flows for preserving copper coating. Ground rod is UL listed, ANSI certified and NEMA GR1 rated.
