RAPID CITY, South Dakota, April 18, 2014 — Crescent Electric Supply Company, with branches in Rapid City, Aberdeen, Sioux Falls, and Watertown, has promoted Ken Herman to account manager and hired Laramie Riley as a new account manager at its Rapid City branch, 317 Maple Ave.
Herman, a native of Rapid City, will primarily work with electrical contractors and end users. Riley, also a native of Rapid City, will focus on industrial and facility maintenance markets.
"Both of these professionals bring years of product and application knowledge, and are extremely customer service focused," said Jim Sullivan, district manger of Crescent Electric's Central Region.
Herman has worked for Crescent Electric for 22 years and most recently was a lighting quotations specialist. He attended South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and holds an industrial electronics degree from Western Dakota Technical Institute, Rapid City. Herman has completed the industry-benchmark Electrical Products Education Course (EPEC) Silver Level and serves on the Black Hills South Dakota Electrical Council Board.
Riley has been in the electrical industry for more than 16 years. He returns to Crescent after spending several years in the field building and maintaining control panels and motors. He has achieved the industry designation of Gold Level EPEC.
For the last five years, Riley has served in the Wyoming Air National Guard.
