Detailed Description: Marley Berko® PHFP Series 1-Phase Plenum rated freeze protection unit heater is rated at 208/240 Volts, 9.42/10.7 Amps, 1.9/2.5 kilo-Watts at 50/60 Hz. It has 150 CFM airflow and offers great air throw. Heater features totally enclosed, impedance protected motor for safer operation. It offers an output of 8530 BTU-hour. Unit bearing motor is suitable for horizontal operation and delivers high starting/running torque. Cabinet of the heater is constructed from 18-gauge cold rolled steel with neutral gray color powder coat finish for durability. It is gasketed to keep out moisture and dust. Heater has steel plate fins brazed on steel sheath that encloses efficient heat delivering 80-20 Ni/Cr resistance wire heating element. Fins and elements are arranged in a uniform grid pattern to assure that all incoming air passes through the heating element. Heating element is placed directly in front of blower for discharging warm air uniformly. An auto-reset thermal cutout disconnects power from the element if an overheated condition occurs without stopping the fan to dissipate excess heat from the element.

Heater is supplied with hanging brackets for convenient mounting. Fan control delay option helps to keep motor in operation after heating elements have been de-energized to dissipate residual heat. It features built-in, heavy duty, contactor/relay. Temperature and fan speed controls are adjustable by means of remote thermostat. It has NEMA 12 rated control box to secure heater wiring/controls and has a single point field wiring. It withstands temperature rise of 60 deg F. It measures 14 Inch x 12 Inch x 14 Inch. It comes in compact design and requires no clearance for horizontal installation. Optional alarm can be installed on to heater to alert automatic tripped thermal limit. It is used in factories, stores, warehouses, public buildings, service stations, workshops and other large/exposed areas. Heater is cETLus listed.
