Electrically insulates odd-sized and odd-shaped splices on cables rated through 1 Kilo-Volt

Detailed Description: 3M Scotchcast™ Multi-mold resin splice kit in white color is used to insulate odd shaped cables that are rated up to 1 kilo-Volts. It supports a cable size of 4 and 8 AWG. It features braided type head strap and multi molded resin type insulator. It has compression tap and split bolt type connectors. Kit contains mold body, sealing mastic, Scotchcast resin 4 and adhesive film strip. Multi-mold resin splice kit finds applications in direct burial, underground system, secondary distribution, plant ground, parking lot, airport runway lighting, electric sprinkling system, sheath repair, remodel wiring and sealing anode lead.
