The silicone rubber provides tracking protection for the lug ends of the cable

Detailed Description: 3M Non-skirted QT-II cold shrink termination kit includes three silicone rubber non-shielded terminations, three strips os Scotch &trade 70 silicone rubber tape, three cleaning pad kits and one instruction sheet. Kit provides environmental seal to 5 - 8 kilo-Volts unshielded power cable terminal lug area. It is also suitable for cables with 8 - 4 AWG conductor sizes and insulation outer diameter of 0.31 - 0.72 Inch. Tracking protection to lug ends of the cable is provided using silicone rubber. Kit includes adequate material required for three terminations. Maximum installed length is 7.5 Inch.
