Detailed Description:
Appleton CPS Series 3-Pole 2-Wire Receptacle features a copper free aluminum/malleable iron construction for longer durability. Receptacle has a current rating of 20 Amps. The 1-Gang receptacle has a voltage rating of 120 - 240 VAC and 24 VDC. It comes with EFD mounting box and is used in CPP-2023 plug. Receptacle is explosion proof and dust-ignition proof. Factory-sealed receptacle can be easily surface mounted with 3/4-Inch dead-end hub. Insulator offers a superior dielectric and mechanical strength.
Receptacle allows lowest arc tracking. It finds application in lighting systems, conveyors, heaters, motor-generator sets, air conditioners, compressors and pumps. It includes captive stainless steel hex head slotted screws, fiberglass reinforced thermoset polyester insulating blocks and pressure wire terminal connectors for quick installation. Receptacle is UL listed, meets NEMA standards.
