Detailed Description: Appleton CESD Series 2-Wire 3-Pole Factory sealed explosion proof, delayed action pin and sleeve receptacle is constructed from ceramic burnished copper free aluminum for durability. It is rated for current of 30 Amps and voltage of 125 - 250 Volts. The 1-Phase surface mount receptacle contacts are deeply recessed to reduce danger of accidental touch. Spring door of the receptacle prevents accumulation of dust while plug is not in use. It has uniquely designed brass contact for providing superior connectivity. It has 3/4-Inch one vertical and two horizontal feed thru conduit hubs for providing easy wiring connection. Contacts have beryllium copper wire spring to offer positive retention. Fiber glass reinforced insulator in receptacle provides superior dielectric, mechanical strength and offers lowest arc tracking.

Receptacle has neoprene bushing that is compressed by cable collar to prevent entry of water. Insulation of the conductor in conduit hub is protected by smooth and round integral bushing. It comes with malleable iron mounting box for easy/fast installation and is zinc/chromate/epoxy powder coated to resist corrosion. Grounding style-2 receptacle is designed to supply power to motor generator units, welders, pumps, compressor, cellular relay station and other portable or fixed electrical. It has pressure wire terminals for easily accommodating conducting cables. It is designed to use in class I classified location such as petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries and other areas that has ignitable vapors or gases. Receptacle is UL listed and CSA certified.
