Detailed Description: Appleton U-Line® 3-Pole 2-Wire Factory sealed pin and sleeve receptacle is constructed from copper free aluminum and has epoxy powder coat finish to resist corrosion. It comes in deeply recessed design to reduce danger of accidental touching. The 2-Gang explosion proof, delayed action Receptacle has3/4-Inch feed through hub for providing easy wiring connection. It has uniquely designed brass contact for providing superior connectivity. Dead front design prevents receptacle from energizing until plug is fully inserted and switch is engaged. Fiber glass reinforced polyester insulator in receptacle provides superior dielectric, mechanical strength and offers lowest arc tracking. It comes with malleable iron mounting box for easy/fast installation and is zinc/chromate/epoxy powder coated to resist corrosion. U-Line plug compatible with standard non-explosion proof, U-Line explosion proof receptacle is designed to supply power to motor generator units, welders, pumps, compressor, cellular relay station and other portable or fixed electrical. It has pressure wire terminals for easily accommodating conducting cables. It has a current rating of 20 Amps and voltage rating of 250 VAC. It is designed to use in class I, class II classified hazardous location such as petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries and other areas that has ignitable vapors or gases. Receptacle is UL listed and CSA certified.
