Detailed Description: Appleton Powertite® 3-Pole 3-Wire Pin and sleeve receptacle is secured in copper free aluminum housing for durability and has epoxy powder coat finish to resist corrosion. It is rated for voltage of 600 VAC/250 VDC and current of 200 Amps at frequency of 50 - 400 Hz. It has pressure wire terminal to accommodate 250 MCM - size 2/0 wires. Grounding style-1 receptacle is designed to supply power to motor generator units, welders, pumps, compressor, cellular relay station and other portable or fixed electrical.

Receptacle has neoprene bushing that is compressed by cable collar to prevent entry of water. Bushing is highly resistant to hydrocarbon and is self-extinguishing for providing safer operation. It is provided with 2-Inch hub for convenient device plugging. Locking screw and slot secures plug cable collar in a place tightly. Receptacle contacts exert constant pressure along entire contact surface and provide electrical continuity. Grounding contacts of controlled length makes first and breaks last for added safety. It is suitable to use in temperature range of -40 to 107 deg C. The 3-Phase box mount receptacles accept only plugs of the same amperage rating, style and number of poles, making it impossible to mismatch and provides for positive polarization. Natural finish insulating blocks is constructed from glass-filled polyester to provide dielectric, mechanical strength and offers lowest arc tracking. Receptacle is UL listed/CSA certified and meets NEMA standard.
