Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy HYPLUG Compression adapter plug is made of high-conductivity electrolytic copper with a tinplated brite finish for long-lasting corrosion resistance and longer durability. It measures 3.670 Inch x 0.460 Inch diameter. It is designed for reliable termination of copper conductor when the current capacity of the conductor is downsized. It is a compression adaptos-code terminal, accommodates flex cables having size of 300 Kcmil. It withstands a wide range of electrical and environmental conditions, including current surges, temperatures, corrosion and vibrations for a wide variety of applications. It offers high quality connection at a low installed cost and is yellow color-coded for an easy identification and proper tooling recommendation. The adapters facilitate the termination into existing mechanical setscrew connectors for different stranded copper cables. Lug is UL listed and RoHS compliant.
