Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy Hyplug™ YE-P Series compression adapter is made of copper with electro tin-plated finish for enhanced durability. It is designed for the reliable termination of copper conductor if the capacity of current in conductor is downsized. Adapter features copper conductor of size 250 AWG and 1 AWG pin conductor. It has a voltage rating of 600 Volts. It has a overall length of 2.490 inches and strip length of 1-1/8 inches.

Adapter provides voltage drop protection when oversized/flex conductor is used. It comes with pin that measures 0.310 Inch diameter x 1.090 Inch. It operates at temperature of 90 deg C. Adapter simplifies the termination for various stranded copper cables into existing mechanical set screw connectors. It is yellow color coded for easy identification. Adapter is UL regulation and is RoHS compliant.
