Detailed Description: Lithonia Remodel housing in galvanized steel color has maximum ceiling thickness of 4-3/16 inches. It is made of aluminum housing with galvanized steel pan for optimal thermal management. It has 4-Inch housing and 12 AWG conductors, remodel construction is most economical to create a well-lit environment for particular energy efficiency to deliver superior performance. Galvanized steel junction box with four built in romex clamps and four 1/2-Inch and two 3/4-Inch nominal knockouts slots for pryout. Two side mounted torsion springs on the trim and two receiving brackets in the can ensure a consistently tight fit with the ceiling.

Expandable bar hanger allow off-center mounting in wood joist and T-bar ceilings. Maximum length of 25-1/2 inches and minimum length of 13-1/4 inches or it is cut to fit 5-1/2 inches on center joist constructions. Galvanized bar hanger spans up to 24 inches O.C. that features built in nailer, integral T-bar clips and removable J-box doors for easy access. Vertical adjustment of housing provides flush mounting with ceiling face and two locking screws to hold fixture in position. It is rated for 90 deg C and is provided with ground wire. It measures 10-1/8 Inch x 4-1/2 Inch x 5-1/2 Inch. Air-tight housing is suitable for air-tight installations and tested to meet current energy codes.

Incandescent housing features durable medium base porcelain socket with nickel-plated copper alloy screw shell and contact. Socket is attached to reflector to ensure proper and consistent lamp position. Clip of socket is placed on top of housing to prevent paint overspray in socket screw shell. It is provided with thermal protection against improper lamp usage. It is intended to use with recessed housing rated IC or Non IC for L3R R6. Housing meets UL standards and damp location listed.
