Detailed Description: Appleton Unilet® Incandescent luminaire has copper free aluminum mounting hood/guard with epoxy powder coated finish to offer enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. Guard has snap-on attachment feature to offer easy installation. Luminaire has prismatic glass globe and porcelain steel/fiberglass reinforced polyester reflector that are secured to mounting hoods with screws to offer even light distribution. Globe fits firmly to the composition gasket in mounting hood to keep out dirt and moisture. It has porcelain socket with brass screw shell to accommodate A23 medium incandescent lamp that has a power rating of 60 - 200 Watts. Porcelain socket offers superior protection against shock for longer lamp life. Luminaire has a voltage rating of 277 Volts. It has 3/4-Inch hub and five tapped openings to offer convenient wiring. Luminaire has lugs and four close-up plugs to offer convenient mounting. It operates at an ambient temperature of 40 - 200 deg C. Luminaire is ideally designed for enclosed and gasketed lighting fixture, use in storage areas, tunnels, subways, chemical plants and other areas. Luminaire is UL listed and CSA certified.
