Detailed Description: Leviton 3-Pole 3-Phase Industrial grade AC motor starter switch is engineered to deliver safe and reliable control of a wide range of motor loads. It has a voltage rating of 600 VAC and current rating of 30 Amps. It has a motor power rating of 3 hp at 120 VAC, 7-1/2 hp at 240 VAC, 15 hp at 480 VAC and 20 hp at 600 VAC. It is designed to withstand a dielectric voltage of 2200 Volts for one minute. It has a short circuit rating of 10000 RMS symmetrical Amps at maximum voltage 600 VAC when protected by a 30 Amps time delay fuse.

Switch's base, cover and standard toggle is made of PBT polyester material to offer resistance against impact, chemicals, temperature, tracking and arcing. It includes nickel-plated brass screws and bushings for quick installation. It is featured with a cam-driven mechanism to increase fast-make/slow-break. It is provided with silver-alloy contacts for superior conductivity and service life. It measures 2.030 Inch x 2.480 Inch x 3.750 Inch. It has external clamps to accommodate 10 - 8 AWG back and side wiring. Switch features T1, T2, T3, L1, L2 and L3 marked terminals on back for easy identification.

Switch is provided with an internal insulating barrier between the terminals to offer isolation between the phases. It has a non-corrosive, durable nickel-plated brass mounting yoke with permanently marked with catalog number, amperage, voltage and horsepower ratings for easy identification. Switch features an oversized toggle for easy turn ON/OFF. Switch with triple-drive nickel-plated terminal screws enable tightening to accurate torque ranges. It has 6000 cycles of endurance for inductive motor type load. It has 50 cycles of overload protection at 6 times full rated current.

Switch operates at a temperature range of -40 to 60 deg C and has a temperature rise of 50 deg C at full rated current. It has a torque range of 25 Inch-lb. It has UL94 V-0 flammability rating to withstand harsh environment conditions. Switch meets WD1 & WD6 NEMA, C-73 ANSI, File E63969 UL 508, File #E63969 cUL per CSA C22.2 No. 111 and 057 NOM standards.
