Switch has a power rating of 1/2 hp at 120 Volts and 2 hp at 240/277 Volts. Switch has 14 - 12 AWG side wired connections and 8 - 32 steel terminal screws for easy, convenient installation. It has a durable steel strap to offer high tensile strength. Switch has 0.031-Inch thick silver-cadmium contacts to offer easy switching operation. It features a thermoplastic body and polycarbonate actuator as well as a toggle for enhanced durability.

Switch has flammability rating of V-2/UL94 to withstand harsh environments. It operates at -40 to 65 deg C temperature. Switch resists dielectric voltage of 1500 Volts for one minute.
