Detailed Description: Ilsco Safetysub® 8-Port Type PED-SS multi-tap underground connector accommodates 750 kcmil - 2 AWG aluminum/copper wire to provide flexibility in the field. It has high strength aluminum alloy construction for maximum conductivity and clear plated finish for low contact resistance. EPDM cover has dielectric strength of 240 Volts per mils and nominal thickness of 125 mils. It is water-tight and does not require taping. Connector is dual-rated for copper and aluminum conductors. It is perfect for direct burial in earth or concrete. Connector offers multiple conductor installation for a broad wire range. The 600-Volt rated connector measures 13.7300 Inch x 6.5000 Inch x 3.9000 Inch. Connector is UL listed and CSA certified.
