Detailed Description: Ferraz Shawmut Amp-Trap® A2K Series Fast-acting fuse operates at a current rating of 40 Amps and voltage rating of 250 Volts. These fast-acting fuses are particularly good for branch/feeder circuits and back-up protection. Current-limiting A6K fuses provide excellent protection where high available short circuit currents exist. Its unique rejection style design prevents fuse replacement by other classes. Class RK1 fuse allows excellent protection where high available short circuit currents exist.

Fuse features fiberglass body construction that allows for dimensional stability in harsh industrial environmental conditions. It find wide range of application in lighting circuits, feeder circuits, switchboards, load centers, panel boards, bus duct and non-inductive loads. Fast-acting fuse has high degree of current limitation for low peak let-thru current. Its imprint label is easy-to-read for quick recognition and replacement. It has an interrupt current rating of 1 - 600 Amps and 200 kilo-Amps at 250 VAC/VDC. Fuse is UL listed, CSA certified and meets ROHS compliant standards.
