Detailed Description: FLIR (Extech) High voltage digital insulation tester offers four insulation resistance test ranges plus continuity, AC/DC voltage, polarization index and dielectric absorption ratio measurements. It includes an auto ranging 6000 count LCD display with bar graph, selectable LCD backlight level function for working in dimly illuminated areas, MAX/MIN, PEAK, relative, data hold functions for DC/AC voltage measurements, auto-discharge function and voltage output warning function. It also includes LIVE circuit warning symbols plus audible warning, programmable test timer measurement function, auto-power off function and battery check. Live circuit detection avoids insulation test if voltage is less that 30 Volts is detected. It has 1 - 15 minute timer function for IR measurements.

Tester comes with test leads, eight 1.5 Volts C cell batteries, 120 VAC adaptor and heavy-duty carrying case. Insulation tester has test voltages at 500/1000/1500/5000 Volts and 0.5 - 600 Volts AC/DC voltage with 200 milli-Amps continuity. It has insulation test range from 0.1 mega-Ohm - 60 giga-Ohm and resistance from 0.1 Ohm - 6 kilo-Ohm. It has sampling rate of 2.5 times per second, short circuit current rating greater than or equal to 200 milli-Amps and open circuit test voltage greater than or equal to 4.5 Volts. It has an operating temperature of 0 - 40 deg C with 80% RH operating humidity and storage temperature of -10 - 60 deg C with 80% RH storage humidity. It measures 7.800 Inch x 5.800 Inch x 3.400 Inch. Tester meets pollution degree 2, IEC 61010-1 and IEC 61010-031 safety standards.
