Detailed Description: Simkar Twin head emergency lighting unit features an injection-molded, V0 flame retardant, high-impact, thermoplastic low profile housing with white finish for enhanced durability. It comes with two fully adjustable 5.4 Watts glare-free lighting heads. It uses a high performance smooth thermoplastic reflector and polycarbonate lens for optimal light distribution and offers resistance to discoloration. It can be mounted easily on surface, wall or ceiling using easy connect back plate that fits most standard junction boxes and snaps into place making internal electrical connections. It has dual input voltage rating of 120 Volts and 277 Volts. It features charge rate/power on LED indicator light and push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing. Low voltage disconnect protects battery from deep discharge.

Emergency light uses 6 Volts, 4.5 Ah sealed lead acid, maintenance free, rechargeable battery with transfer or charging circuitry. Battery includes an internal solid-state transfer switch that automatically connects the internal battery to lamp heads for minimum 90 minutes emergency illumination. Battery features fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger that initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours. Light is UL, C-UL and ETL listed for damp location. It measures 16 Inch x 5 Inch. Emergency light meets UL924, NFPA 101 life safety code and NEC requirements.
