Detailed Description: Eaton / Cutler Hammer iProx™ Shielded standard range proximity sensor equipped with an embedded microprocessor and exclusive SmartSense™ technology, offers better sensing capability. The ProxView Windows-based software package allows you to program the sensor to perfectly fit an application. It has voltage rating of 6 - 48 VDC, current rating of less than or equal to 500 Milli-Amps at 6 -30 VDC and 300 Milli-Amps at 32 - 48 VDC. It offers a sensing distance up to 4 mm.

This 3-Wire DC proximity sensor is the perfect choice for most demanding inductive sensing applications such as automotive, machine tool, material handling and metal working. It has high-quality stainless steel barrel, 360 degree dual-color LED indicator, Ryton® impact-resistant face cap and vibration-absorbing potting compound. The auto-configure technology automatically detects a sinking (NPN) or sourcing (PNP) connection and alters the sensor configuration accordingly, without need of any user intervention. The Exclusive SmartSense™ embedded microprocessor technology allows customizable range, band sensing, nuisance metal rejection, timing delays and over/under speed detection. It withstands high electrical noise up to 20 V/m at 10 Hz and extreme temperature of up to -40 degree Celsius. Proximity sensor is C-UL listed.
