Detailed Description:
Eaton Comet series photoelectric sensor uses Perfect Prox® technology to detect targets of different color, reflectance, contrast or surface shape by ignoring background object. It has rugged polyurethane flat side housing to completely encapsulate internal circuits from shock and vibration. Forward viewing sensor uses infrared sensing beam to detect objects within a distance of 9-Inch. It has voltage rating 10 - 30 VDC with bipolar NPN/PNP solid state outputs.
Sensor is switchable between light/dark operations and has gain control to provide for quick adjustment to peak optical performance. It measures 18 mm diameter x 2.600 Inch. It has adaptable modulated circuit to provide immunity for crosstalk from other closely mounted sensors. Output status indicator on sensor is visible from wide 270 deg angle. The 3-Wire and 4-Wire sensor is attached to 4-Pin micro DC connector for external connection. It includes two jam nuts and washers for mounting into any 0.75-Inch hole. Sensor is UL listed.
