Detailed Description: Cooper Lighting Air-Tite® Halo® 6-Inch Non-insulated ceiling recessed housing is designed specifically for use as a heat lamp with up to a 250-Watts R40 IR lamp. Housing has a white powder coated finish and comes with a die-stamped 20 gauge CRS construction. It is ideal for use in non-insulated ceilings in residential and commercial applications. Housing measures 10-1/2 Inch x 7-1/2 Inch x 7-1/2 Inch. Junction box features seven 1/2-Inch knockouts with true pry-out slots and accommodates straight conduit runs. Socket plate can be repositioned and locked without use of tools. Housing conforms to accommodate up to 1-3/8 Inch ceiling thickness in plaster frame. Two-piece bar hangers allow positioning of housing within a 24-Inch joist span. Housing is cULus listed and CSA certified.
