Detailed Description: Cooper Lighting All-Pro® Air-Tite® Quickconnect™ Recessed housing is ideal for 2 Inch x 6 Inch joist construction with shallow insulated ceilings and also in direct contact with insulation. It features die-formed aluminum housing construction for greater heat dissipation with four remodel clips for secure housing. It has remodel springs that accommodate 1/2-Inch and 5/8-Inch size of ceiling material. Housing is surrounded by integral thermal protector that deactivates fixture during incorrect lamp usage.

Housing has junction box that includes quick connect wiring connectors, four romex NM cable pry-outs and seven conduit knockouts of size 1/2 Inch. It has 6-Inch round aperture and adjustable rigid porcelain socket with nickel-plated brass screw shell that locks without tools for various lamp sizes. Housing is UL/cUL listed for damp location, feed through and direct contact with insulation/combustible material. Housing is CSA certified.
