Detailed Description: Cooper Crouse-Hinds EGJ Series Junction box is made of electro galvanized ferroalloy iron alloy for durability. It has cover that is made of copper-free natural aluminum and is externally threaded. Cover is sealed with standard O ring gasket to ensure raintight enclosure and cover recess accepts the tool that is required to open cover of gasoline storage tank. Junction box measures 5-3/4 Inch x 6.125 Inch x 5-3/4 Inch. It includes easily removable caulking compound supply for filling space between cover flange and body rim to avoid accumulation of water, dirt as well as ice. Junction box features two drilled as well as tapped conduit entrances on the bottom and six on the sides. Junction box is provided with plugs for the two bottom entrances and four of the side entrances for choice of conduit arrangement. It features ES sealing hubs that is threaded into the bottom in order to seal the mainfeed. Junction box is designed for flush installations in hazardous locations such as the concrete pump island of gasoline service stations. Junction box is UL listed and CSA certified.
