Detailed Description: Cooper Crouse-Hinds Condulet® Hub is installed within hazardous areas to provide protection against exterior explosion where explosive gases are present. Box is manufactured from copper-free aluminum and has a 1/2-Inch hub size. Threaded rigid conduit Box protects conductors and provide access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes. Dust-Ignition proof box can interconnect lengths of conduit. It has two different configurations of taper threaded hubs to provide ground continuity. Box has smooth integral hub bushing to protect conductor insulation when pulling. Box with surface covers furnish features neoprene "o"-ring gasket and a green ground screw. Hub is UL listed, has CSA certification and meets NEC/CEC standards.
