Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy Crimpit Compression C tap connector in purple color is a range-taking C shape connector for making tap or parallel copper connections strand conductor. It can accommodate a conductor of size 2 -12 AWG. It lowers inventory requirements and compact size with rounded design facilitates easy taping with high conductivity. Connector is made of pure wrought copper that provides low resistance and excellent electrical conductivity. Connector is designed to be gripped in the jaws or dies of installation tool, then slipped directly over line for easy installation. Connector requires voltage rating of 600 Volts and operates at a temperature rating of 90 deg C. It measures 1.750 Inch x 0.090 Inch. Connector is UL listed and CSA certified.
