Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy Hyplug Compression adapter plug in purple color is used in the application where oversized conductors are used/flex conductor is used that requires voltage drop protection. It facilitates the termination into existing mechanical setscrew connector for copper cables. It measures 0.770 Inch diameter x 3.110 Inch. Adapter plug features 0.37-Inch - 2/0 AWG sized pin and comes with a strip length of 2-1/16 Inch. It can be used for reliable termination of copper conductor when the current capacity of the conductor is downsized. It allows flux cable of size 4/0 AWG and is made of tin-electroplated copper for high conductivity and better corrosion resistance. Adapter plug is UL listed and has RoHS compliance.
