Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy Type-GAR mechanical grounding connector is perfect for joining a 8 - 3 AWG solid/ 9 - 4 AWG stranded conductor cable, parallel or at right angles to rod or pipe. It can accommodate 1/2 - 3/4 IPS tube, 7/8 - 1 Inch OD rod and 7 - 8 size rebar. Connector is made of high copper alloy with bright dipped finish for durability. This connector will not get corrode even if you burry in the ground or concrete. It comes with DURIUM™ U-bolts, nuts and lock washers. Connector is perfect for use in fence posts and is easy to install. It measures 1.31 Inch x 2.35 Inch x 2.75 Inch. Connector is UL listed.
