Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy Hyplug™ AYP Series compression pin adapter is made of aluminum with electro tin-plated finish for enhanced durability. It is designed for use with molded case circuit breakers, panel board equipment and meter sockets. Adapter has a voltage rating of 600 Volts to 35 kil0-Volts. It features stranded aluminum conductor of size 6 AWG and expanded aluminum/copper conductor of size 6 AWG. It provides resistance to possible bi-metallic corrosion and also eliminates tight problem. Flexible adapter has rubber insulation for complete protection and features smooth surface on the solid EC Plug which has equivalent cross-sectional area.

Adapter offers easy installation in equipment with limited working space for proper, magnificent electrical connection. It has a overall length of 1.850 inches and strip length of 1-1/16 inches. Adapter comes with pin that measures 0.290 Inch diameter x 0.840 Inch. It operates at a temperature of 90 deg C. Adapter uses large aluminum wire to connect equipment and minimizes the inventory requirements. It is tan color coded for easy identification.

Inhibiting compound penetrates aluminum oxide between strands with conductive metallic particles to form an air-tight connection. Die sets install the complete line from 6 AWG - 750 kcmil and eliminates taping. Cost effective adapter is UL listed, CSA certified and is RoHS compliant.
