Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy Splice kit includes standard AMS splice/reducer and a heavy wall heat-shrink sleeve. It is constructed from high strength, tin plated aluminum that provides low contact resistance and reduces the effects of galvanic corrosion. Splice kit is ideal for all aluminum or copper/aluminum combinations. The heavy wall heat shrink sleeve is lined with adhesive material providing positive seal against moisture. It comes with four 5/16 Inch hex screws and is installed with standard propane torch or electric heat gun. kit accommodates a cable size of 1 AWG - 250 KCMIL. It is UL listed and CSA certified.
