Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy UNITAP™ 1PLD Series double-sided entry distribution tap connector has UV rated black plastisol covered aluminum body saves time by eliminating the need for taping. Tap connector is used with aluminum conductor of size 4 AWG - 600 kcmil and copper stranded conductor of size 4 AWG - 600 kcmil. It is pre-installed with oxide inhibitor that resists moisture and contaminants from entering the contact area. Tap connector has range-taking capability that decreases the number of connectors carried in inventory. It has 375 inch/lbs installation torque and is rated with 600 Volts input at 90 deg C for feasible operation. Tap connector is UL listed.
