Zinc plated malleable iron body, zinc plated steel clamping and set screw, tin plated aluminum or bronze/bright dip grounding lug

Insulating liner material is self-extinguishing

Tough plastic liner won't chip, crack, swell or shrink; resists corrosion, chemicals and temperature extremes

Gib-ls series is provided with a set-screw allowing fitting to lock bushing in any desired position

Detailed Description: Appleton Insulated grounding bushing is made of malleable iron for added durability and strength. Bushing has zinc-electroplated body and tin-plated lug finish for high corrosion resistance. It has a trade size of 1/2 Inch. It can ideally use with a locknut to terminate conduit at an enclosure. Bushing is designed for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC. It features low surface friction that allows wires to be pulled with virtually no abrasion on the cable insulation. It is suitable for connect bonding jumper to a neutral bus bar. It operates at a temperature of 150 deg C. Bushing is UL listed, NEMA rated and CSA certified.
