Dozseal 220 is a universal medium-soft asphaltic base compound having a low softening point and low pouring temperature

The compound remains plastic at low temperatures and remains viscose at the highest cable operating temperature

Detailed Description: O-Z/Gedney Asphaltic base sealing insulation compound is perfect for used in gasketed or threaded splice fittings and gasketed terminators. It has a pouring temperature ranging from 325 to 375 deg and dielectric strength of 50 kilo-Volt. Insulation compound has flash point of 475 deg F and softening point of 115-125 deg F. It remains viscose at the highest cable operating temperature. It is suitable for use in non-hazardous location with any cable having solid type insulation.
