Factory sealed enclosure confines any arcing, with no need to install external sealing fittings at each conduit entry

Factory sealed pilot lights supplied with jewel/guard assembly and 120 vac, 6 watt lamp (led provided as option)

Dozens of possible combinations of push buttons, pilot lights and selector switches

Push button and selector switch contacts are silver cadmium oxide and are sealed in lower phenolic chamber, isolated from corrosive elements, to ensure positive contact and long, trouble-free operation

All front operated push buttons are supplied standard with lockable guard to prevent unauthorized operation

Detailed Description: Appleton Contender® 1-Gang 1-Circuit push button/pilot light control features zinc electroplated dichromatic epoxy powder coated malleable iron construction for enhanced corrosion resistance. It features corrosion resistant captive stainless steel hex head bolts that hold cover to the body. It has enclosed stainless steel helper spring that helps to prevent accidental operation of push button in severe vibration installations. It provides 1 NO/1 NC contact configuration for optimum performance. Switch allows surface mounting with 3/4 Inch ignition/explosion proof dead-end hub and comes with front operated actuator. It is rated at 10 Amps at 600 VAC.

Light control features momentary switching operation for easy ON/OFF operation. It has a stainless steel push button shaft that operates within stainless steel bushing, ensuring long and trouble free operation. It is designed to use in chemical/petrochemical plants, refineries and other process industries. Button switch is UL listed and meets Nema 3, 7(C,D), 9(E,F,G) rating.
