Detailed Description: Appleton Contender® Series 3-Way 2-Gang Feed through tumbler switch has zinc electroplate, chromate, epoxy powder coated malleable iron constructed body/cover for durability. It is designed to protect enclosed devices from arching and corrosive/hazardous external environment. Switch has external mounting lugs and internal ground screw for offering quick installation. It has rocker arm type switch for controlling enclosed device. It has smooth, round integral bushing in each size 1 hub to protect conductor insulation.

Switch is rated for current of 20 Amps and voltage of 120 - 277 VAC. It is rated for power of 1 hp at 120 VAC and 2 hp at 240 VAC. It requires corrosion resistant, stainless steel hex head cap screws for fastening cover and body. It is used in highly corrosive and hazardous environment such as chemical plant, petrochemical/refineries industries and other process industries. Switch is designed to use in Class l, Class ll and Class lll classified areas that contain ignitable vapors, gases or highly combustible dusts. Switch is UL listed and meets NEMA standards.
