Detailed Description: Appleton Contender® CPS factory sealed, dead-end pin & sleeve receptacle has plug mechanical cable clamps that overcome the strain produced. It has high dielectric and mechanical strength from the insulators used. The pressure terminal connectors are provided for plug and receptacles. The screws are made of stainless steel. It is perfect for use with lighting systems, conveyors, heaters, motor-generator sets and air conditioners.

The 1/2-Inch receptacle has a voltage rating of 125 - 250 VAC, 18 VDC and current rating of 20 Amps. The 3-Pole, 2-Wire receptacle is made of aluminum and epoxy powder coat finish. The receptacle meets NEC/CEC: class I, division 1 and 2, groups C, D, UL 1010 (UL 1203), UL 894, UL E10784 L, CSA C22.2 No. 25, C22.2 No. 30, C22.2 No. 159, CSA certified: 038644 standards.
