Detailed Description: Appleton CODEMASTER II HID Factory sealed fixture unit features a durable copper free aluminum ballast body/guards and die-cast copper free aluminum pendant mounting hood with epoxy powder coat finish for uniform corrosion protection. It has sand cast copper free aluminum ceiling/bracket/stanchion mounting hood and aluminum or fiberglass reinforced polyester reflectors. It measures 12 Inch x 12 Inch x 21-3/5 Inch. It uses one 400-Watt HPS series mogul high pressure sodium lamp for light source and 120/208/240/277 Volts super constant wattage autotransformer ballast for safe operation. Fixture in patented wireless design operates safely in high ambient temperatures and is factory sealed for easy installation. It has ambient temperature rating of 104 deg F.

Fixture has an acme double-lead threads that speed up fixture installation and removal from mounting hood. It features porcelain socket with nickel-plated phosphor bronze screw shell for long trouble-free operation in high ambient areas. Combination of strategic location of lamp socket with the interior prism design of the glass globe offers optimum light distribution and control. Fixture is perfect for using in chemical and petrochemical plants such as manufacturers of plastics, paints, thinners and in refineries.
