Detailed Description: Appleton 4-Pole Polarized rain tight plug is made of corrosion resistant copper-free aluminum with epoxy powder coat finish for durability. It has positive polarization. Any arcing in the plug is confined within terminal cavities when energized line and load terminals are disengaged. It is compatible with receptacle and connector body. Plug has 4-Inch hub. It is used to supply power to fixed or portable electrical equipment. It features solder wire terminal connection. It is ideal for use with weatherproof enclosure. It has standard shell grounding or shell plus extra pole plug with locking screw and slot prevents cable collar from backing off. The three-wire plug features solder wire terminal to accommodate 400 - 1000 MCM wire for ease of installation. It has a current rating of 400 Amps and voltage rating of 600 VAC/250 VDC at 50 - 400 Hz. Plug has cable of outer diameter 2-1/2 - 3 inches for required connection. It operates at -40 to 107 deg C.
