Product Details

Positive polarization, only plugs and receptacles of same style, number of poles and ampere rating can b used together

Circuit breaking: in 30, 60, 100, and 200 Amp units, any arcing created as line and load terminals disengage is safety confined deep within terminal cavities. Plugs may be withdrawn in an emergency under full rated loads without separate disconnect switches (400 Amp plug is for disconnecting use only; not for current rupturing)

30, 60, 100 and 150 Amp Powertite® plugs also suitable for classified locations when used with Appleton EBR, EBRH, JBR, MD2SR or DBR explosion-proof interlocking receptacles

Controlled length contacts ensure that ground makes first and breaks last for added safety

Detailed Description: Appleton Powertite® Receptacle assembly AJA mounting box features neoprene bushing that compressed by cable collar to prevent entrance of water. It is made of epoxy powder coated copper free aluminum and has Bushing that resistant to hydrocarbon deterioration with self-extinguishing property. Backing off is prevented by locking screw and slot and provide electrical continuity using constant pressure.

3-Phase mounting box with 200 Amps current rating has voltage rating of 600 VAC, 250 VDC and uses insulating blocks to provide greatest dielectric and mechanical strength. 4-pole 4-wire assembly is designed to supply power to portable or fixed electrical equipment such as motor generator units, welders, pumps, compressors, cellular relay stations and similar apparatus.

Box is ideal for use in locations where a weatherproof enclosure is required such as in compressor, motor generator unit, pump, shipping docks, shipping ports and welding. It uses 0.687 Inch wire with 50 hp at 600 Volts, 40 hp at 250 Volts power rating and has 2-1/2 Inch hub for surface mounting and connection. Receptacle mounting box is UL listed and CSA certified.
