Detailed Description:
Appleton Powertite® 4-Pole Reverse service clamping ring plug is made of copper free aluminum to get corrosion resistance. It provides reverse service operation for generator applications. Plug for easy supplies of power to fixed electrical equipment such as motor generator units/welders/pumps/compressors/cellular relay stations. It comes with weatherproof enclosure for rough usage. Plug has copper contact material for high thermal and electrical conductivity. It is also used for shipping docks/ports/other ship to shore applications. It measures 1.860 Inch diameter x 6 Inch x 3.130 Inch.
Plug has a wire size of 10 - 6 AWG and 10-8 AWG. It has a current rating of 30 Amps. Plug operates at a temperature of -40 to 107 deg C. The 3-Phase plug with four-wire configuration offers good conductivity. Plug has locking screw and slot to prevent plug of cable collar from backing off. It has a cable outer diameter of 0.39 - 1.375 inches. Plug holds pressure at the terminals.
Polarized plug is used for safety reasons. It has wire recess diameter of 11/16 Inch. Plug has a single grounding shell with clamping ring is used for the tightening of the receptacle. It has a voltage rating of 600 VAC at a frequency of 50 to 400 Hz, 250 VDC. Plug is UL/CSA/ NEMA certified.
