Detailed Description:
Appleton Powertite® 4-Pole 3-Wire Reverse service clamp ring plug is made of epoxy powder-coated copper free aluminum to get corrosion resistance. It provides reverse service operation for generator applications. The 2-Grounding shell and extra pole plug for easy supplies of power to fixed electrical equipment such as motor generator units/welders/pumps/compressors and cellular relay station. It comes with weatherproof enclosure for rough usage. Polarized plug with clamping ring is used for the tightening on the receptacle. It measures 2.720 Inch diameter x 10.500 Inch x 4.250 Inch.
The 3-Phase plug accommodates a wire size of 4 - 1 AWG/4 - 2 AWG. It operates at a temperature of -40 to 107 deg C. Plug has a current rating of 100 Amps. It has locking screw and slot to prevent plug of cable collar from backing off. It has a copper contact material that is used for high thermal and electrical conductivity.
Plug has wire recess diameter of 0.391 Inch. It has a voltage rating of 250 VDC and 600 VAC at 50 - 400 Hz. Plug has a cable outer diameter of 0.875 - 1.906 inches. Plug is UL/CSA/NEMA certified.
