Detailed Description: 3M Cold shrink QS-III inline splice kit is used for splicing three-conductor, armored and non-armored, shielded power cables. Kit is ideal for 15-kilo-Volts cable with 2 AWG - 750 kcmil conductor sizes. It is also suitable for cables with 0.84 - 1.38-Inch outer diameter insulation. Kit includes three cold shrink splice body to provide quick and easy installation and is excellent for cable size transitions, three cold shrink adapter tubes, six red compound tubes, three metallic shield sleeves, six small constant force springs, two cold shrink jacket tubes, one cable cleaning preparation kit, Scotch ® super 33+™ and 88 vinyl electrical tape, Scotch-Seal ™ mastic tape 2229, Scotch ® electrical shielding tape 24, Scotch ® rubber mastic tape 2228, six 3M™ copper foil tape strips 1181, gloves and one instruction sheet.

Kit has Scotch ® rubber mastic tape to provide excellent high and low temperature performance. It has silicone rubber splice bodies to provide flexible and allows splice to bend with cable. It features one 6 AWG armor to armor continuity braid for two large constant force spring connection. It has armor cast structural material to provide mechanical protection for the splice. Kit is used for indoor and outdoor applications.
